How has your hometown influenced your music?

Our hometown has played a huge role in shaping our sound and identity. Growing up, we were surrounded by a mix of local artists, underground venues, and a tight-knit creative community that really encouraged experimentation. Whether it was busking on street corners or playing shows at smaller venues, those early experiences pushed us to find our voice. There's a certain energy that comes from knowing where you come from—the stories, the struggles, the culture—all of that flows into the music, whether intentionally or not. Even as we branch out and play in different places, there's always a little piece of home in every song we write. And it's incredible to see people from other places connect with that feeling, even if their experiences are totally different.

How do you manage creative differences within the group?

Managing creative differences is definitely a journey, but we've found that communication is key. Each of us brings our own unique style, influences, and ideas to the table, and sometimes they clash. Instead of letting that create tension, we've learned to embrace it as part of the creative process.

We have a pretty democratic approach—if there's disagreement, we take a step back and make sure everyone feels heard. Sometimes it's about finding a middle ground, but other times, the best idea wins based on what serves the song or the project the most. We also try to check our egos at the door because ultimately, we all want the same thing: to make great music.

There are definitely moments where compromise is tough, but those struggles usually lead to something better than any of us could have come up with alone. At the end of the day, we respect each other's creativity, and that's what keeps things working between us.
